Hi Lizzy here , I guess Bobs loyal followers will have noticed a rather long gap in my sisters blog posting , this has been due to my needing to learn to type.
Unfortunately Bob ever the one to push the boundaries as an ace stunt cat used up the last of her nine lives five weeks ago more than a kilometre from home in a spectacular attempt to break the bottom of the big valley to home speed record . This trek involved crossing a large paddock with fifty four Alpacas , a paddock with geese and ducks, followed by a road and 200 meters of mushy swamp. I don’t think I need to say which part of this journey proved the most hazardous and ultimately fatal .
After Chris found her we put her in the pet cemetery under our Red Oak tree with the other rather more long lived furry family members , Kate the Dog (15), Doris (16), Ethel (18) , Randell (19) and a couple of fish that didn’t make it when we rebuilt the fish pond.

We were all pretty crushed at the time but we are feeling better now.
